Came on a gloomy Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately Bangkok and surrounding provinces are suffering covid restrictions so whilst the place was open, things were very quiet. Cafe and restaurant is located in amongst many plush plants and mature trees, all set next to the Saen Saep Khlong. A lovely spot indeed. Cafe is called The Tree House and yes in the center of the grounds stands a nice tree house where one can enjoy a cool drink overlooking the green surroundings. We ordered an Americano coffee, an iced lemon tea, roti bread and a noodle soup. Food was excllent as was the coffee and iced tea. All that for 150 baht which is very reasonable. Service was lovely and friendly. Unfortunately the clouds dropped a load of rain so we had to retreat to a dryer spot from our table overlooking the river. A funny thing, when we approached our table initially, we disturbed a small snake who slithered off pretty quickly. Harmless for sure but I was happy it left quickly lol. I can imagine this place being really lovely as its well shaded and there are many different indoor and outdoor seating options. When times are better and restrictions are reduced it would definitely be a nice place to return to...

Lovely hidden place by the canal and in the middle of a tiny jungle like. This place serves halal food and drinks. Very peaceful place and makes you blend in with nature. I loved the atmosphere and general feeling, very relaxing. Food was good and so was the coffee, and the price was cheap. Note that dining tables are scattered all around the entire place. Children’s playground is available in a separate secured area, and few private tree houses are also available. For those who want to perform their muslim prayer, there is a dedicated prayer room for males and females, in addition to the muslim mosque just across the canal that is only...

The Treehouse Nongchok is a great place to dine for lunch. They offer a variety selection of Thai specialty dishes and everything was delicious.

Service is prompt as our food spread arrived less than half an hour. The staffs are super friendly and helpful as well.

To beat the heat wave, we opted to eat indoors with air-conditioning where seats are limited. But the outdoors are a great option too as when it's not too hot, the windy breeze will make you feel at peace with nature.

For fellow Muslims, they provide a mixed prayer room and section...
