The Cockle Farm — Restaurant in Ko Kaeo

OUTSTANDING restaurant/ coffee shop. The food and coffee here are great, and the scenes are incredible, especially if you go around midday when the ride is in. The coffee is also delicious (coming from a coffee snob). You can get reasonably priced Thai food, such as the yummy pad krapow, for 85b. They also have a lot of live seafood. I enjoyed the mud crab for 75b per 100g. I've never eaten live seafood before, and this was the perfect place to try. All of the staff were super nice and friendly. The cafe has inside seating with aircon and also outside seating to enjoy the views. We couldn't stop coming back to this place, and it might be my favourite restaurant of all time. A hidden gem in the middle of nothingness. We only managed to find it as we were staying at Oceanic sportel. We are so glad that we found this place. It has both outdoors and indoor seating, the outdoor seating was very breazy, you can emerse yourself with the amazing sea view while enjoying the Cafe's food.

The cafe serves live seafood dishes, from cockles to lobsters. They even have horseshoe crab. We ordered their clam soup and crab fried rice, and the food tasted fresh and not too fishy. Seafood restaurant near Sapam village, right by the mangrove forest with a chill atmosphere. The sea view depends on the tide, so the vibe changes depending on the time.

Their signature dish is cockles, raised and cared for by the restaurant itself — super fresh, plump, and not fishy at all.

Other dishes are just as delicious! Highly recommend the crab fried rice — packed with crab meat and totally worth the price.
