Me and my girlfriend passed this place yesterday and pulled over intrigued by the amount of locals eating here. We stopped in, a little nervous as there was no English menu and we didn’t know what we were doing, what it cost or what anything was! Anyway, we sat down and the lovely owner and staff brought us some utensils and plastic cups and we were guided by the locals on what to do. You fill plates with the items in the various stations and they eventually bring you two cooking apparatus, one a BBQ and the other a soup bowl with broth. The food varied from leaves, noodles, sauces on one station (soup), to the starter section which comprised of chicken, cous cous (maybe?) and more sauces, then all the meats and seafood (which have no names). You then cook the items on the BBQ and grill.
The cost came to 657 THB, we would have gladly paid more for the experience.
Not only that but we left my rucksack there and drove 40 mins back to our accommodation. Once realising this we drove back and they had hung it up in the office waiting for us.
Overall, beautiful people with a great authentic setup. We were fearful of food poisoning (being the nervous westerners we are) but absolutely no issues and as long as you’re careful with how you handle and cook items, you’ll also be fine.

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. This is place where Thais go to eat and there were very few tourists (apart from us).
The owner showed us what to do and helped us with plates and recommended certain sauces etc.
The broth for the hotpot was so nice and made an excellent soup to eat with the cooked veg and meat.
Soft drinks included in addition to deserts. Beers must be paid for however.
The eating experience was second to none. Great cuts of meat and variety of buffet dishes. Had a couple of large beers and the full experience. We paid roughly £7.50 each. Phenomenal value for money.

Read moreWere there in JANUARY 2023, again in the suburbs, the quality of the food was no longer what it was at the beginning. Thought it would be a one time thing. Table reserved for 6 PM in May. get approval. When we arrived there wasn't a table free. Management didn't care. Ok last try in early June. Ordered the combination buffet again. BBQ and mukata. The BBQ brazier was served with leftovers from other tables. When I complained that there was not enough carbon in the container, they brought a cut carbon block, for which I was then asked to pay 30THB. I didn't pay. We will no longer recommend the...
