We stopped here for lunch and we are very glad that we did. Firstly, the views are really nice looking out over the south of the island. The staff were very polite and attentive. I ordered a fresh coconut and it was delicious. After having finished all the water, I asked the lady if she would split it in half so I could scoop out all the jelly and she was happy to do so. We then ordered food. A club sandwich, onion rings and spring rolls. All were very much to our liking. The club sandwich was nothing special but I was quite happy with it as it was made fresh. OThe batter on the onion rings was as light as air. I wish more restaurants could replicate it. Didn’t feel oily at all. And the spring rolls were fresh as if she made them this morning. Everything was made to order and came out hot which we appreciated. It’s worth the wait to get good food. A great lunch!

I had the Pad Thai for 150 baht. The Pad Thai is poorly made, with the flavor not blend well with the other ingredients, like the cabbage and carrot. The rice noodles are very tough to chew, and does not have much fragrance to it. Given the quality, the price is total a rip off. The main selling point of the restaurant is really just the viewpoint of the southern coast line and the Pig Island. Since it is a restaurant, the poor food quality is not acceptable. In terms of atmosphere, the scenery is great, and clear view. However, the table has a strong shellac smell, so it really affect the enjoyment of the food. Often the shellac smell overpower the smell of the food. The staff there is friendly and nice to talk to.

The worst restaurant I had in Thailand ! I don’t understand why there are so many good reviews… The only good point is the view is ok but not extraordinary either… The building is such a horrible place, it’s like we eat in a construction… the tables and the chairs are juste so old and without any decoration. The worst is the food! For this place, one Pad Thai cost 180! One coke cost 60! And the rice for 30 and it’s cold! The food added a lot of salt and sauce and the portion is so so small! I think it’s from the refrigerator some days ago cause there were nobody in the restaurant ! There are no other choice nearby otherwise I will never come in !
