A true hidden gem.

Ok, this place is well off the beaten track for the average Ao Nang tourist but well worth the visit. Sometimes if you really want to experience the real Thai food you have to get as far away as possible from restaurants on the main strip. This restaurant has a location 15 mins drive from Ao Nang. Easily accessible by a Tuk Tuk or taxi van from Ao Nang. It is located on a beautiful waterway with stunning views.

The staff speak English to a very high level, they are attentive, friendly and will make your visit enjoyable.

Let's talk food.

This restaurant has a strong focus on seafood. They have their own water tanks which ensures your seafood will be fresh. If seafood is not your your thing then no problem, they also have a large menu which has Pork, Chicken and a great Vegetarian selection. I have lived here for 9 years (UK) before. Tried this place for the first time last week and have returned 3 times in 10 days, taking our friends. The food is just something else. Take the time and make the effort, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry I didn't mention the prices, Not expensive in any way. Food ranging from 80 Baht for a Southern pork curry dish, with rice, to 259 for fresh Sea Bass fillet. The crab omelette is just something else and a must try if you visit. Amazing really. Quality at an unbelievable price.

If one enjoys a beer the big Chang and Leo are 85 Baht. They also have clean male and female toilets. There is nothing to dislike about this fabulous restaurant. I have have my own business here and this place does...

How does this place not have a Michelin star? We ate here several times during our trip to Krabi, every time ordering new dishes and every time everything was incredible.

Wooden deck overlooking a tidal estuary, you can see fish swimming, birds and bats coming out to hunt in the evening, even little mudskippers and crabs on the riverbank below. It's the ultimate in rural riverside vibe, down to the choice in music, rustic decor, and generous portion sizes....

Nice location but the food was not good. The Seafood salad was served with lime sauce that wasnt made from lemon. The taste was like the sauce came from a bottle. The squid definetly came from a pack that you can by in a supermarket and the three mussels were looking old already so we did not touch them. I have never had such a bad salad.
