I had one of the most disappointing experiences at The Coffee Club â Krabi Airport. I stopped by for a coffee expecting a peaceful moment before my flight, but the service was unbelievably rude and unprofessional.
When I asked for an extra spoon in English, a staff member with a short haircut (who appeared male) mocked my pronunciation, repeating âSpoon? Spuuuun?â in a childish, condescending tone. Instead of helping, they giggled among themselves with other staff members and continued chatting loudly, completely neglecting their duties.
It was humiliating and frustrating. Iâve traveled to many countries and rarely encountered such disrespect from cafÃĐ staffâespecially in a place meant to welcome international travelers.
Because of this incident, my positive memories of Krabi were completely overshadowed. I left with the strong feeling that I never want to return. This behavior does a disservice to the entire region.
On top of that, even giving one star feels too generous. I felt I had to share this experience so others...
Read moreAs usual at the airport, the coffee prices are very high, but that was not my biggest problem. What bothered me more was how my latte was made. The staff member took a milk jug from the fridge with old milk that had already been heated before. He even scooped out some milk with a spoon and was about to reuse this old milk for my latte.
I had to point this out before he cleaned the jug properly, threw away the old milk, and used fresh milk. This practice is not only unprofessional but also unsafe, as repeatedly reheating milk can lead to bacteria growth, which can make people seriously ill. For a specialty coffee shop, this kind of behavior is a no-go and should never happen.
Another thing they should change: offer customers ceramic cups by default, not disposable ones. Since waste is still a big issue in Thailand, a chain like this should help reduce it. It would also make the experience better...
Read moreI traveled from Krabi to Kuala Lumpur today, and due to a flight delay, I received a food voucher worth THB 120 from AirAsia. I decided to use it at The Coffee Club and ordered the grilled chicken with quinoa salad and a hot chocolate. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The service staff were extremely rude, and the grilled chicken they served was spoiledâit was tough and inedible. When I brought this to the staffâs attention, they responded rudely and did not offer any immediate solution or apology. After some time, they finally realized their mistake, took back the dish, and served a new portion. However, even the replacement dish did not meet...
