The Lake View Restaurant & Kayak-คลองหรูด — Restaurant in Krabi Province

During my stay in the Krabi area, I had the pleasure of visiting the Lake View, went to this Restaurant and it was a delightful experience. Luckily, the restaurant was almost empty during my visit, allowing me to fully soak in the serene ambiance.

The location exudes positive energy, surrounded by lush greenery, the soothing sounds of birds, and a stunning view of the lake. The restaurant features a beautiful terrace, which is the perfect spot to enjoy your meal while basking in the natural beauty.

The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Additionally, they went above and beyond by preparing a special fruit salad hors carte, which was absolutely amazing.

such a lovely place with very kind and accommodating staff! we rented kayaks here for only 200 baht per person and had a great time on the beautiful lake! we didn’t end up getting food but it did look nice and they very kindly gave us a plate of watermelon when we were done kayaking :)

if you are getting here by grab be careful and cross reference your destination with google maps. unfortunately we believe our grab driver tried to scam us as he dropped us off on the other side of the lake at a kayak company (where it seemed like he knew the people) that was very pushy and tried to rent us kayaks for 500 baht per person! it was definitely worth the walk to make it to this...

I have lived in this area for over ten years but I only stumbled across this place a year or so ago and have been using it on a regular basis since. It’s always a beautiful relaxing place to stop and take a break on every bike ride. Amazing place to come and listen to nature, while you sit in the shade above the lake. Here you can eat some truly great authentic Thai food and drink a glass of the best ice coffee around. Normally I would keep my mouth shut about a place like this and just selfishly enjoy the peace and quiet but this place really deserves to be discovered and enjoyed, it is a great find.
