Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience in this place. We've been waiting for over an hour for somebody to come to our table, although there was only one more table occupied apart from ours. The staff barely speaks English so it was nearly impossible to place an order. We had to write down everything in waiter's notebook. We came there for crabs and after some time from ordering them we got an information that there are no more crabs to order. The waiter offered us prawns so we orderder them and few minutes later he came back to told us, that the ones we orderded are also out. Finally, we ended up with mango shakes and plate of shrimps - I attach the photo, they were good and cost 50 bahts. The bad service wasn't the only thing we didn't like about the place - it was very dirty, the tables weren't cleared for about two hours which we spent there. Next to the fishes there was a cage in which there were kept about 6 cats. There was so dirty inside! The cage wasn't cleaned at all and the cats were in a poor shape. When we were waiting for the waiter, a monkey came to the tables and stole some trash. A waiter seeing this, slinged a shot at it 🤯 If you don't like seeing animals being treated like this, it's definitely not good...
Read moreWe waited more than an hour just to order, even though we were literally the only ones at the restaurant. After an hour someone showed up, said something in thai and left. Only when some other tourists came with a Thai guide, he helped us with the order by calling someone from the kitchen and giving us a piece of paper to write down what we want.
We wanted to try crabs and grilled shrimps, but guess what, they didn’t have any of them. They said they can bring us some other type of shrimp so we agreed because we were already annoyed and hungry. For a medium sized plate of small shrimp they charged us 500 TBH which compared to other restaurants is way too much.
When we came there were tables with dirty plates etc. left on them and for the whole 2 hours we spent there no one bothered to clean them.
And that’s not all, they have cats in cages and the conditions they are kept in are horrendous. The cages look like they haven’t been cleaned in months and the cats themselves look very neglected.
TL;DR: terrible service, food was at most ok, but way too expensive. I have no idea where those positive reviews come from. I overheard the people who were leaving when we came in saying they were also...

You'll sit right above the river, surrounded by nothing but mangroves, passing-by kayakers, and the cutest family of very happy CATS! 🐈 The lovely owners farm their own fish and go fishing every day - so it is as fresh as it gets. The food took a while to be prepared, but it was extremely delicious so absolutely worth the wait! You have to try the Tom Yum, the Fresh Oysters and the Shrimp Pad Thai.
After our meal we even got invited to feed the fish which was quite of an experience! Who knew that fish can spit?? 😬💦🐟
I highly recommend going there after a boat/kayak tour in the area to enjoy a cold beer and a truly unique local food experience ❤️ Oh and did I mention all the cute cats that you'll...
