I had the pleasure of dining at Zama for two consecutive days during my business trip — and I must say, it was a truly comforting culinary experience.

The restaurant offers a beautiful fusion of Southern Thai and overseas Chinese influences. The ingredients are clearly handpicked with great care, and you can feel the thoughtfulness behind each dish. The flavors aren’t overly bold or spicy, but instead, they offer a comforting, gentle warmth — a smooth and balanced blend that feels very homey and satisfying.

Even though I wasn’t feeling well one day, the honey lemon drink I ordered (twice!) was incredibly soothing for my sore throat — just what I needed. For the spicier dishes, the heat is mild — enough to enjoy without overwhelming the stomach.

Over the two days, I tried: • Stir-fried Bai Liang leaves with egg and dried shrimp • Squid stir-fried in black ink • Deep-fried pork with fish sauce • Grandma’s Southern Thai shrimp curry (Gaeng Tai Pla) • Crab curry with betel leaves • Steamed seabass with lime • Shrimp paste fried rice with chili

Everything was absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

The restaurant itself feels cozy — more like a café with only about four tables. It’s styled in a modern Chinese theme, making the dining experience even more pleasant.

The Thai cuisine here has a modern twist, with beautifully presented dishes that are bursting with flavor. We particularly enjoyed [insert specific dishes you enjoyed the special Ama tofu, the fried eggplant and the tamarind prawn. They can make most of their dishes vegetarian, replacing meat with soft tofu, making it a welcoming spot for all diners.

Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The flavours were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. We especially loved Charred Eggplant Sladt, Shrimp Fat Chili Fried Rice and Soft shell Crab with yellow curry which were absolute highlights.

The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations.
