Glenonchy — Restaurant in Lam Pho Subdistrict Administrative Organization

When you have a vision, when you have a dream, you can make it real in Thailand. Yes, this young chap of an owner so did. Inspired by a place he had been to in New Zealand, Glenorchy recreated here as Glenonchy. The place is still in her infant beginning years, so the air-conditioned indoor is cozy seating just few. There is an inhouse cat, but it is not an everyday affair that we get to see. Outdoors there is a treehouse and a couple of seats set by the scenic pond. This remains a place for drinks. Wide selection of tea, I think they have 400, 4000 or 40000 I can’t remember clearly. They also have their own house blend of coffee. No main courses of food for now, a kitchen in future they have in their expansion plans. Customers are welcome to play board games, they have an assortment of them provided for. Been here a few times and love this place lots my friends...

Glenorchy is known as a beautiful and picturesque place in the South Island of New Zealand. When I first heard about this cafe, as a New Zealander myself, it was a no brainier wanting to investigate. Yes Glenorchy does exist in Thailand. Place itself is lovely and very similar to the real place. The surrounding garden and foliage really does give it a New Zealand feel. We ordered coffee and iced honey lemon tea plus some small snacks. All were delicious. Staff are lovely, I spoke to the owner, she told me she had visited the real Glenorchy. Clearly the beauty of the place resonated with her. Enough to open this location in Thailand. 5/5 stars for a unique place in Thailand. Well worth a visit. Will definitely be...

ร้านที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากเมืองเล็กๆ แห่งนึง (Glenorchy) ในนิวซีแลนด์ ที่แห่งนั้นเป็นหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ ริมทะเลสาบที่มี background เป็นเทือกเขาสูงสลับสูงต่ำไปมา บางคราก็มีหิมะปกคลุม ความสวยงามของทิวทัศน์ที่สวยจับใจนั้น เลยถูกขนานนามว่า paradise และ Glenorchy ก็ประหนึ่งเป็นประตู่ไปสู่สรวงสวรรค์ ประมาณนั้นแล

ที่นี่สะดุดตาด้วย cabin สีแดงท่ามกลางแมกไม้และสระน้ำที่มีฝูงเป็ดว่ายเล่น บรรยากาศอบอุ่น เจ้าของใจดีมาก แนะนำเมนู เล่าที่มาที่ไปของร้าน ให้เวลากับลูกค้าอย่างเต็มที่

☕ กาแฟที่ เกลน นน ชี่ มีเมล็ดให้เลือกเยอะเลย คั่วเองด้วย ระบุความชอบได้ แม้แต่บางเมนูก็ customize เพิ่มได้ เช่น dirty ชอบไม่หวาน หรือหวาน หรือหวานน้อย, ชอบใส่ช็อคโกแลตไหม ฯลฯ ส่วนผสมของเครื่องดื่ม บางอย่างก็ทำเอง เช่น คาราเมล, mint หรือ ช็อคโกแลต คือมีคววามพรีเมียมแบบไม่ต้องกั๊กมาก เพราะต้นทุนทางค่าเช่าที่ไม่มี ที่ดินของตัวเอง (เจ้าของเล่า) ไม่ได้ลอง americano ที่เป็นการทำด้วยสูตรพิเศษของทางร้านแฮะ (ครั้งหน้าๆ)

ธรรมชาติที่รายล้อม ความใส่ใจในเมนู คัดสรร ช่างคิด ข่างทำ ความโอบอ้อมของผู้คนที่นั่น ให้อิสระกับผู้ไปเยือน จะไปนั่งทำงาน พาน้องหมาน้องแมวไปด้วยก็ได้ คงจะเป็นอีกที่นึงที่ทำให้อยากกลับไปใช้เวลาอ่า

เสียดายอย่างนึงแต่อย่างมาก คือไม่ได้เจอ ฟรานซิส แมวเจ้าที่อะดิ ท่านไม่ยอมให้เข้าพบอะ 😅😅
