Once I discovered this gem at the top of Sukhumvit Road I wanted to eat there every day and managed three in a row (not including the time I popped in one day in the middle of the day just to get one of those icy drinks.. coconut and passion fruit were the best). The huge menu was overwhelming and very tempting. My guide was from Isan and had been very impressed by the Isan food on offer there so we focused on that. The first night we had soft shell crab salad and that was so good I had it the next time I came so I highly recommend that. I also enjoyed their appetizers like the cheesy scallops, and the King prawns in the in the butterfly tilapia seemed like the biggest sellers. The classic Isan papaya salad was outstanding and with the brilliant Isan style fried chicken eaten with sticky rice served in the cool traditional containers was outstanding. The sauteed kale was a very good and a welcome addition of green food that was pretty rare in my traveling diet. But you really can't go wrong here, everything is so good and the prices are so reasonable. Situated as it is in the midst of so many big Western hotels, it's no surprise the place is full of Ferang, and it also seems like a meeting place for expatriate Ferang. But what was very interesting is that almost none of the servers were Thai.. most of the people that work here appear to be from Myanmar or Cambodia or even Laos. This means that any one time Thai people are the minority in the hall, which is just a point of interest that ultimately means nothing because the food is some of the best collection of Thai Street food I think you'll find in BKK, at least with ease, and I love going there and wish I were...

Service: I would say it is service on call. You need help, you make an eye contact with one of the staffs and signal them to come. They speak some English and are very helpful. The dishes are served very promptly.
Environment: the space is huge with 50+ tables and live music at times. It has a local feeling to it! I really enjoy this street food style of eating. I would say don’t expect it to be super clean and organized or you will be very disappointed. Also cats will walk around and eat the leftovers or wait for you to feed them. 😃. Share food with them.
This is the place I will for sure come back if I ever return to Bangkok. I hope you...
Read moreFood: I was directed here by a local saying that this is where you can get locally priced seafood and the suggestion did not disappoint. There is a HUGE selection of food and drinks here on the menu...and all WITH PICTURES so you know EXACTLY what you're ordering. I've come here multiple times and all the food I ordered was amazing.
Service: Service was fast while moderate when it gets busy at night. All the waiters/waitresses that I had gave really good recommendations for food.
Atmosphere: Very chill vibes in the morning to early afternoon. At night, sometimes there's a band playing music or singing on the stage.
Other comments: No idea why this is relocated on google maps to a different location, but the same Bangkok Seafood is still available when I checked just last week on Sukhumvit Soi 1, but it's been renamed on google maps as Aree Seafood Sukhumvit Soi 1 ( เจ๊อารีย์ ซีฟู้ด...
