Nice little local restaurant that serves Northern Thailand delicacies. A side entrance from the residence leads you to a small little garden. The restaurant has only 5 tables that can cater to around 20 pax. Ambiance is nice with soft, smooth jazz in the background. A wonderful place for a small group gathering. Beef with chili paste. It is well prepared, not dry. Jackfruit chili paste, on the other hand, has no taste or fragrance of jackfruit. However, it goes pretty well with the fried pork skin. Bamboo soup is well balanced, not salty, and proportion of ingredients and soup is well managed. Lastly, the signature dish, grilled pork. The pork is succulent and goes well with the sauce. Portion of dishes are not too big or small, 4 dishes are just fine for 2, depending on appetite. A worthy place to visit.

Had a great lunch and even better time in moonstoned! The owner is so nice. The food is so fresh and yummy, I finished the whole plate myself. The cats are so cute and playful. You can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in the place and menu, everything is just so nice. I can easy spend a day here. Have to leave and catch the train. Will definitely come back to this one. Highly recommended.

Durante il nostro soggiorno a Lamphun siamo venuti a mangiare qui per due sere consecutive! Il cibo é eccezionale: sapori intensi e sinceri. Finalmente un ristorante che permette ai turisti di assaggiare gusti "non turistici". I piatti sono tutti profumati e squisiti, molto curati nella presentazione. Le portate che abbiamo apprezzato di più sono state il maiale alla griglia con salsa hung lay, il maiale fritto, la salsiccia del nord e le melanzane con la menta! Il proprietario è un ragazzo gentilissimo e parla un ottimo inglese: si é fermato ventieri a chiacchierare con noi spiegandoci qualche curiosità sulla cucina nordica thailandese. Anche i suoi genitori ci hanno accolto con un grande sorriso. Il locale é molto accogliente, i bagni sono puliti e dotati di ogni necessità. La qualità prezzo é ottima. Se passate da queste parti dovete per forza fare una tappa qui, non ve ne pentirete. (Ricordatevi di concordare il livello di piccantezza 😁) Grazie per questa esperienza culinaria locale ❤️ a presto!

Had a great lunch and even better time in moonstoned! The owner is so nice. The food is so fresh and yummy, I finished the whole plate myself. The cats are so cute and playful. You can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in the place and menu, everything is just so nice. I can easy spend a day here. Have to leave and catch the train. Will definitely come back to this one. Highly recommended.

Durante il nostro soggiorno a Lamphun siamo venuti a mangiare qui per due sere consecutive! Il cibo é eccezionale: sapori intensi e sinceri. Finalmente un ristorante che permette ai turisti di assaggiare gusti "non turistici". I piatti sono tutti profumati e squisiti, molto curati nella presentazione. Le portate che abbiamo apprezzato di più sono state il maiale alla griglia con salsa hung lay, il maiale fritto, la salsiccia del nord e le melanzane con la menta! Il proprietario è un ragazzo gentilissimo e parla un ottimo inglese: si é fermato ventieri a chiacchierare con noi spiegandoci qualche curiosità sulla cucina nordica thailandese. Anche i suoi genitori ci hanno accolto con un grande sorriso. Il locale é molto accogliente, i bagni sono puliti e dotati di ogni necessità. La qualità prezzo é ottima. Se passate da queste parti dovete per forza fare una tappa qui, non ve ne pentirete. (Ricordatevi di concordare il livello di piccantezza 😁) Grazie per questa esperienza culinaria locale ❤️ a presto!

A nice little garden that gives you a relaxing environment.

Beef is well served with the chiili paste. Not too dry.

The Jacfruit paste, on the other hand, does not exhibit jackfruit smell nor taste. However, it is spicy and goes well with the crispy pork skin.

Bamboo soup with pork is well balanced. Not too salty. Soup and ingredients proportion is just nice.

The signature dish, grilled pork, is well grilled. Meat is not dry and succulent, and it goes well with the sauce.

The restaurant looks a bit small, with only 5 tables serving around 16 to 20 people. Size does not matter when the ambiance is soothingly with soft jazz in the background. A place recommended for a gathering of a...

I don’t have any photos of the food because both times I came I was too absorbed enjoying it to take pic! Behind the big garden there is a cosy aircon room with a few tables and large bay windows. The welcome is very warm and the young man who takes the orders speaks very good English and is happy to explain. There is a menu in English but better yet, let him choose. I’m still dreaming of the 3 dishes he chose for me last time :-) The meals are sophisticated and balanced home cooking, a treat for the palate. There are also many superb cats, so for a cat lover like me it’s an added bonus. Updated: after 4 meals here I can say this is the best Thai...
