Daokanong Lamphun Restaurant, Doi-Ti Branch — Restaurant in Lamphun Province

Context: A Northern Style and contemporary Thai cuisine, we were here late at almost 14:00, so it was relatively empty.

This one is Lamphun is a branch, we believe there is also one in Chiangmai too.

For the Pallette: We overall liked the taste, especially some of the Northern Style dishes, the quality is on the good side too.

The variety of menu was great (nothing too spicy, should be more than fine for our tourists) so good for all ages 😁.

For the Place: Spacious, simply, typical Thai local restaurant. Relatively clean and well kept. Facilities wise, a good size parking space and clean lavatories. No playground though (like we said typical Thai restaurant), no background music either.

There are aircon area, which should be appreciated in the summer.

For the People: Service level was fast (like we said we were here when it wasn't particularly too busy) and effective (although not always with a smile, haa haa haa).

For the Pocket: Very reasonable in deed, the fish was close to BKK price, but we had expected it, having fish in the mountains it was more than acceptable (for the quality).

This place serving a lot of Northern Thailand traditional foods with good and original taste. They keep the place very clean. Dish ,glass ,spoon are keep in close container with good hygiene. This place offering free vegetable as side dish (self service) Price are reasonable. Plenty of parking lots (own parking lots) Service is very good ,the waiters/waitress are nice and very polite. This place opening 8:30 am. til night.

My friend who live in Chiangmai recommend me. The food very fantastic! Very reasonable price! I recommend Somtam nam poo with pomelo ( Very unexpected the taste!) And Fried chilli stuffed with minced pork it so crispy and tender inside! There’s many parking lot and clean toilets
