The Chef (Phu Ruea) — Restaurant in Loei Province

We were lucky enough to come across “The Chef” on New Year’s Eve! It was by chance really as we took a walk in search of something different to hotel food… the restaurant was quaint, beautifully decorated & the service was top class! We loved our food and we’re so well treated that Pim even gave us a lift back to our hotel - who needs Grab🤣?!

Wow, we were in the area searching for a place to stop to eat. We headed for The Chef to find out it was the owners house and you needed to book ahead. However Pim said no problem and cooked us two amazing steaks. Private dinning by a quality Chef was a great way to end our amazing week long road trip. If you're in the area, call and book for an amazing meal in a very exclusive environment that you'll be hard pressed to find....

If you happen to be in Phu Rua and want a fine dinner, head to The Chef. The restaurant is located in a backstreet off the highway in a normal townhouse where the decorated patio holds a kitchen and a few tables. The atmosphere is absolutely mediterranean.
