Tong’au Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Lop Buri Province

I wouldn’t advice coming if you’re famished or short on time. Food was decent, I can’t lie but both the waiting time and quality of service were subpar… even whilst I was on holiday mood

We ordered 5 dishes and they came each spaced 20 minutes apart, with the last 2 dishes being completely forgotten. We cancelled it in the end due to time constraints.

Come here if you enjoy long waiting times and poor service with mediocre food, otherwise perhaps the next pit stop would suit most...

Read that this was a great place for those driving from Bangkok to Khao Kho as a pitstop. Indeed, it did not disappoint! We sat at the al fresco and as the driver who drove for the last 2 hours, it was truly a great break for my tummy, eyes and soul. Ordered the top 3 dishes + the classic Thai iced tea! We relaxed here for close to an hour before continuing our journey. Food was good and cost-effective. Spent 490THB for 3 pax...

28th Dec 2024, 1pm. My family was at Tong Au Cafe. The food and atmosphere were reasonable. However, I was very disappointed with the waitress who took our order. She missed my order and my son-in-law order. We checked our orders knowing the language issue, and yet she could miss our orders. At the point in time, we had already waited for 2 hours. She didn't even apologise. I will never come back to...
