Ing Chan Farm — Restaurant in Mae Chan district

Not happy. We called in before 7 to ask if they have space for dinner. To this they answered they would actually like to close as no guest but as we were only 10 min away, they took us in. Understood if no guests and want to close but then rather say closed, than show a bit dissapointment in taking us in... Nobody else except us. Service was a hit and miss. 2 foods came out real quick, within 3-4 minutes.. One dish was forgotten. Sadly no flavours in food. Soup that we ordered was just spices. No flavor, just spicy water! Even ordered mild as one foreigner in the group. Drinks we had to pour ourselves, 4 staff at the counter.

We arrived here on our scooters and we’re directed to the scooter parking area. The lady who greeted us spoke perfect English. We were given two menus, even though there were three in our party. The waiter was reluctant to give us a third menu. The waiter stood alongside the table until we’d chosen. He didn’t speak English. So why didn’t the woman take our order? We chose our dishes but several were not being served. One of these was red curry, surely a staple dish in Thailand. Makes you wonder is the food bought in from the local mae Chan market and there was no red curry bought...
