Decently priced local Mai Khao cuisine. The restaurant is probably named after the local specialty deep fried mini crab-like dish, which is prepared really well at this restaurant. We were recommended this place by a local, so we went to get some lunch to go on the way back to the hotel. The rest of the food that we ordered were good. I wouldn't say that it's amongst the best Thai food we've had over the week, but it's still delicious. I would skip the pineapple fried rice though. Ordered tom yum soup with shrimp. The soup itself was ok. Problem was the shrimp. The shrimp texture was mushy, unspringy and it felt like they cooked it with ready-cut blue prawns that has been left out for a while instead of tiger prawns.
Ordered 2 blue crab but was told after they were short of 1 crab and they replaced it with a black crab instead. We were ok with it.
