Shabushi by Oishi — Restaurant in Nakhon Pathom Province

More like a school canteen, covered in thick black paint, than a restaurant.

Staff emptying plastic sacks of dip, into containers adjacent to eating customers (the things you do behind the scenes), the 90 min limit after 15 mins for the bowl of hot water to arrive.. the gallery of the half arsed, poorly plated cheap food going past you over and over, looking drier and drier with each passing moment.

Food half on and half off the plates.. the kitchen throwing and sliding new food onto the carousel, desperate to make it feel more like a prison job than a professional establishment.

The beef was impressive. Purely because you so rarely see beef cut so thin it's entirely see through.

The lowlight would be, the instant noodles, going round and round.. not even a portion, just the corner of an 8bht block of noodle.

All you can eat.. but... you really don't want to each much more than to fend off starvation.

Avoid. There's a reason there isnt...

We used our credit card points to get 50% discount. If we paid the normal full price, we would be super disappointed.

Ice-cream is good. Food coming in the plates are ready to be thrown into the pot. They also provide hot tea which is rare to find in this kind of restaurant.

However, the quality of beef wasn't so good. My husband found some plates weren't fresh. For all the veggies, you can't find any difference from other cheapers shabu restaurants.

Sushi was the worst. The sushi rice was totally wrong. It was more like Thai sticky rice than Japanese rice. It's like something you can find in any open-air night market.

Staff didn't have enough situational awareness.

Shabushi costs 399 thb for 1.15hr time limit

The other shabu restaurant nearby on the same floor costs 299 thb for unlimited time

Shabu Bootueng under 300 thb including beef, ice-cream and refillable drinks for unlimited time
