I visited ทิพย์สมัย ผัดไทยประตูผี (สาขาพุทธมณฑลสาย 4) for lunch and I was impressed by the quality and taste of their pad Thai. The restaurant is located on the main road of Phutthamonthon Sai 4, opposite to the Phra Buddha statue. It was easy to find and there was no line when I arrived. The menu offers a variety of pad Thai options, such as regular, with shrimp fat, with fresh shrimp, wrapped in egg, or deluxe. I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp fat and fresh shrimp, wrapped in egg (150 baht). The portion was generous and the noodles were soft and chewy. The sauce was rich and flavorful, with a hint of sweetness and tanginess. The shrimp were big and juicy, and the egg was thin and crispy. The dish came with bean sprouts, chives, lime, crushed peanuts, and chili powder for extra toppings.
I also tried their dim sum, which included pork and shrimp dumplings, crab claws, and steamed buns (120 baht). The dim sum were fresh and delicious, especially the crab claws, which were meaty and tender. The steamed buns were fluffy and filled with sweet custard.
The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and casual. The restaurant also offers fresh orange juice (180 baht per bottle), which was refreshing and had pulp in it. I enjoyed my meal and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves pad Thai...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this branch. The entrance looks dark, small, and shabby, but there is plenty of space inside the restaurant. This branch serves dim sum and has dim sum demonstrations on a schedule. There are indoor areas with and without air conditioning, and there’s also a parking lot at the rear. This time, we ordered takeout and ate it 3 hours later, but if we had eaten it right away while it was hot, it would have been as delicious as usual. The price is a bit high. It costs 150 baht for Pad Thai with shrimp, but I don’t mind paying that because I like it. The taste is a bit sweet, so I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who doesn’t...
Read moreArguably the most famous Padthai in Thailand! Their signature Padthai dish gets its unique orange colour from the shrimp roe sauce, enveloped in a thin layer of egg. Rich texture, while still having space for added seasoning to your own liking. Within their padthai restaurant they also have dimsum, coconut icecream, drinks, snacks. Definitely try the dimsum - it's so good and better than some dimsum restaurants. Also go for the orange juice - freshly squeezed with no additives except for orange pulp-...
