whispering cafe — Restaurant in Nakhon Pathom Province

So mi land inna Thailand pon a cool breeze, ridin’ mi inflatable unicorn through di crystal waters, searchin’ once again fi dat perfect hotel—or at least a nice likkle bite fi eat. Mi float past palm trees an’ peaceful hills until mi spot a place wid di sweetest name: Whispering Café.

Mi seh, “Well alright! A peaceful café fi a peaceful man. Dis must be where dem serve tea an’ blessings.”

So mi step inside, barefoot an’ hungry, ready fi order some pad Thai or maybe a mango sticky rice, when mi notice something strange… nobody talkin’. Not even a cough. Just bare whisperin’… like everybody discussin’ national secrets or plannin’ a surprise party.

So mi sit down an’ when di waiter come over, mi lean in an’ whisper: “Greetings, mi king… one coconut curry an’ a lemongrass tea please.”

Him lean in too and whisper back—but mi cyaan hear a word him seh. Mi seh, “What was dat?” Him seh again, but quieter! Like he tryin’ fi order from inside a seashell.

So now mi whisper louder, him whisper softer, and di whole ting turn into a ninja-level lip-readin’ battle. At one point mi end up orderin’ two boiled eggs an’ a fish smoothie by accident, just ‘cause mi didn’t want to break di sacred code of silence.

Mi friend across di table try fi order too—but him whisper so hard, him pass out from lack of oxygen.

Mi seh, “Dis place beautiful, but mi feel like mi sneakin’ food inna library!”

Still, once di meal arrive—bless up. Best lemongrass tea mi ever taste, an’ mi swear di curry whisper sweet nothings to mi tongue.

Mi still give di place a big up 5 stars. Food—amazing. Ambience—calm like a monk on a hammock. Communication—like tryin’ fi order food from a ghost in a closet.

Advice: If yuh come here, bring a notepad. Or a parrot trained in sign language.

Escaped from the busy Bangkok to this hip IG-friendly in-garden Whispering Cafe, in the same family to the nearby famous Little Tree Garden restaurant which hosts craft & handmade market events. Food and cakes are all surprisingly delicious. Coffee’s good. Alfresco seatings so can be warm. Price is elevated — OK considering the atmosphere and accessories, albeit undertrained service staff, the service could be better -- they should have warned my 8-yr-old son when he ordered the massive-chilli dish. โดยรวม อาหารดี เค้กโอเค สถานที่สวยงาม ตามสมัย...

Charming rustic cafe-cum-garden in a peaceful area not far from Bangkok. Whispering Cafe exudes a unique warmth rarely found in today’s Instagram-worthy hangouts. The staff is ever smiling and the ambience invites you to sit and chill for the whole day. There are delicious organic cakes, tarts, juices, teas, coffees, etc. The whole place has sustainability in mind and represents a oneness with nature’s bounty with added artistic flair by the very friendly owner.
