Hop Beer House Korat — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Badly managed and bad beer! We ( 4 adults) arrived on a Monday evening around 7 pm. The staff told us they had to check with the kitchen what food would be available! They had only 2 steaks left, which we ordered plus a Sea Bass and a sausage plate. We went for a beer tasting. Half the beer was not available as they only started brewing 14 days ago!!!.... so we were told. In the tasting glasses the beer seemed to be ok, but when we got them in the glass it was bland, warm and flavourless! We received a nice little starter with seaweed! The sausages arrived after 15 Min. Ok and tasty... But I daught they are from Germany! After 40 mins we still had no mains! They told us another 5 mins and gave us some fried salmon skin to kill time! After 50 mins they told us they were short staffed as they had opened another restaurant!!! Why wouldn't you be honest and tell us ahead! After an hour waiting we cancelled the order, paid what we consumed and left! A steak does not take an hour to prepare! The lady owner saw us but did not bother to apologize! We felt sorry for the staff which did their best.... but were completely let down by the management! So...

Pleasantly surprised on entry by the attentive, friendly staff and the craft beer tanks. The pricing was also very reasonable.

The waitress offered for me to taste my selected Dunkl drink but as I've never had a bad one in any country I've visited I thought I'd save time and just opt for the 330ml drink. I think she was smarter than me. The drink was awful. It had a beetroot after taste and I couldn't stomach more than 2 sips. Such a waste. I decided to leave it and sample 2 others but they were only marginally better, so I opted for water.

Before I tasted the drinks I was looking to join their 5k beer craft course, but afterwards, certainly not. If they can fix the after taste of their beers this could be a real gem but at the moment I think they're relying on people only having 1 beer and not being familiar with craft beer.

On a more positive note, the pizza promotion they have in August is great. 2 for 1. It has a good taste and is made from scratch.

Come for the pizza and stick to the non-craft is my guidance. Well done to the...

Honestly, don’t go, look elsewhere and I am sure you will Enjoy more. Here is why: I ordered a Weizen, pointed at the menu pic and received a Mass (1 l) Weizen… where in the world do you serve Weizen in a Mass Glas. That is a worldwide NO GO. I am German, I know what I am talking about. I ordered a Pizza that took 50 minutes. I mean seriously a Pizza 50 minutes….The pizza was good. German sausage plate… roastbrat wurst ok, big sausage so full Of water that it swims on the plate. That said it all about the way they define beer style service. Don’t get me wrong, staff is very friendly and helpful and attentive but missing some...
