A TRULY HIDDEN GEM!
Coming all the from Indonesia to this place because of the good reviews and our stay at Nannam Country Home Resort was nothing short of delightful! 😍 We are so happy with our decision! Established many years ago, it looks as fresh and inviting as if it had just opened yesterday, you wouldn’t knew! 🥹 The moment we stepped through the threshold, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of cozy elegance that promised an unforgettable experience.
The interior of the cottage is meticulously clean and radiates a sense of warmth. Room is thoughtfully decorated, combining rustic features with modern touches that make it both stylish and functional. The attention to detail is impressive, and it’s clear that the owners have poured their heart and soul into this place.
One of our favorite aspects was the bedroom, which provided us with a peaceful retreat after a long flight. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, with soft-clean linens and an abundance of plush pillows that guaranteed restful nights.
The outdoor area was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by colorful gardens and mature trees, it was a serene escape where we could sit and breathe in the fresh air. The breakfast was also amazing with many kinds of variations. Couldn’t even maintain my diet program while staying here 😜 So so good!
Overall, this cottage is an absolute a hidden gem, striking the perfect balance between timeless charm and modern luxury. Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway, family bonding time, or a romantic retreat, this place offers it all. We left with our hearts full....
Read moreThis was my second stay at this resort and it will definitely not be the last. The first two-week stay took place at the beginning of February and already then I was enchanted by this place but also the food that you get to taste in their restaurant, which I later found is well known in the area. This time around my stay lasted for over 3 weeks during which I experienced a very good service and hospitality shown by the employees of the resort, but most of all by its owners. As for the resort itself, it is a great place to rest, which is very close to nature where squirrels or singing birds are a everyday life. In the center of the resort we find quite large settlement of bunnies which children love but honestly I myself have spent quite some time playing with the rabbits. During both stays I had the pleasure of using 2 different models of rooms, luckily enough both are located just above the river which obviously is a plus in itself. The views are very pleasing to the eye as well as the sounds of nature that are incredibly relaxing from an everyday stress. The rooms are very neat and have all the essentials. There is a wide range of room types to choose from, which means that everyone will find something for themselves, from a house with wooden paneling to a modern semi-detached house, but even a Pool Villa which I myself haven't had the chance to use but who knows, maybe next time. Summing up, it is an ideal place for regeneration among nature with a large choice of accommodation and very good food. I will definitely visit...
Read moreI love this place. On the River Menan Lamtakok which flows from Khao Yai National Park. Many rooms overlook the river. Food is very good and caters to all tastes. They have a wide range of accommodations from reasonable to quite luxurious. The standard of fittings is excellent. Clean and good service. The staff are very friendly. Owner Khun Akon and his wife make sure nothing goes amiss - tell them if you have any concerns. They will fix the problem. They both speak perfect English and their daughter, who works on site, spent a year in Canada. So you know they relate to you, as well as to Thais of course. This place is not cheap. It is not expensive either. If you want a cheap place, in both the British and American senses, please go elsewhere. But compared to back home everything here is incredibly reasonable, and much nicer all round. It's about 30 minutes from Khao Yai National Park and the wineries in the Khao Yai - Muaklek Valley. Far better to stay here than the pseudo places near the National Park. It's not much use being down there after dark at 6pm anyway, and in Pak Chong you can go to the night market, and you are close to the train station, bus and van stations, and even the small but very efficient Bangkok Hospital that is next door should you want a doctor or dentist for any reason. Give the resort a try for meals or accommodation or both. If you don't love it, there's something wrong with you, not me. And best to book a little bit ahead as it's popular. Which tells you...
