Yellow Pumpkin — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

A truly hidden gem of an artisan coffee shop. It is tucked away about 20-30 steps in a narrow lane just off a busy thoroughfare.

From the outside, you see an old shophouse with lots of potted plants and cacti. Little would you imagine that the inside is an artfully decorated space with lots of nooks and crannies.

The lighting, which is a mix of warm incandescent light and daylight filtering in through all the plants and dusty glass windows, fills the space with such warmth and cosiness that we found opportunities for photographs everywhere we turned.

Good things too to have distractions as the coffee was extremely slow in the coming. And this was the only thing stopping me from going with 5 stars. While we appreciate the care given to each cup, I thought it was a bit excessive to have to wait a full 60 minutes for a cup. There were supposed to be almost 29 cups ahead of us.

Mind you, the cuppa was delightful and the cakes that we got served well before the coffee, thankfully, were scrumptious. Despite the slow service, we will surely be back and to recommend the place to our friends because of the charm of the space, the excellent coffee and cakes and the kind services of the proprietor...

Yellow Pumpkin เป็นร้านกาแฟเบเกอรี่อยู่ในตรอกสำราญจิตต์ สาเหตุที่ใช้ชื่อว่าตรอกก็เพราะว่ามันแคบกว่าซอย เดินเข้าตรอกจากถนนอัษฎางค์ผ่านร้านอาหารตามสั่งมาจะเจอร้านอยู่ขวามือ ข้างนอกร้านไม่มีอะไรโดดเด่น ผมเดินเลยร้านไปด้วยซ้ำ สิ่งสังเกตคือหน้าร้านจะมีต้นไม้ปลูกอยู่ค่อนข้างเยอะ แต่พอเข้ามาในร้านบรรยากาศก็เปลี่ยนไป เมนูที่ได้ลองวันนี้ก็มี

Yellow Pumpkin Cheese Cake 95฿ มาร้านนี้แนะนำว่าต้องสั่งเมนูนี้เลยครับ ได้ชีสเค้กชิ้นใหญ่หนาเนื้อนุ่ม รสชาติกลมกล่อมได้รสสัมผัสของเค้กเนื้อหนานุ่มแบบไม่หวาน ในจานมีวิปครีมโรยช็อกโกแลตใส่มาให้เติมเพิ่มรสชาติ 😍😍😍😍

Americano 60฿ ใส่มาในถ้วยแบบไม่มีหูจับ บรรยากาศแบบให้ยกสดแบบชาจีน กาแฟรสชาติธรรมดาแค่พอดืมได้ 😍

บรรยากาศในร้านเป็นตึกแถวเก่าๆ ใช้ปูนผสมไม้ ให้ความรู้สึกที่ผ่อนคลายน่าพักผ่อนอย่างอธิบายไม่ถูก ดูเหมือนทุกอย่างจะเชื่องช้าลง ร้านมีมุมสวยๆให้ถ่ายรูปอยู่เยอะ แต่ของที่สั่งมาช้า รอนานพอสมควร ทางร้านคงอยากให้เราดื่มด่ำกับบรรยากาศภายในร้าน...
