Little La Cuisine — Restaurant in Nan Province

OK so I found this little place quite by accident. I read mixed reviews so came to see myself. It's been ten days of Thai food. I wanted Western. First off... Out of season. I didn't need to book and I got here around 6.30pm No issues. My waitress speaks basic English. She's really nice. Very friendly and helpful I ordered a shrimp salad but pointed to the main. My waitress came back to clarify, salad or main. So attention to detail ... Sure. She scored well. Cleanliness? Perfect. Food? I'm happy. The shrimp salad was delicious and the pork chop with peoper sauce is exquisite. Location is just off the main road and literally 300m from my hotel. This was my 5th time here and the best so far. Food was perfect. I had pork steak, spinach and cheese and baked mussels with cheese. My friends had the salmon and Dory fish meals. Everyone was very impressed and pleased. Love the complimentary water served with infused fresh fruit. Restaurant is clean and air conditioned with a nice vibe western music.

What made this visit best was the young lady who served our table. She was sweet and polite. Previous times the waitress was a somewhat pom pui Thai lady who was gruff and made zero attempt to smile, speak or try to understand when you talked English or Thai. Not sure, but I believe I saw her in the back kitchen now which seemingly is perfect for...

So you have listed your hours of operation as 11:00-20:00 right? I came here twice and both times was refused service. First time was early afternoon and had to go elsewhere because the food finished and the second time early evening refused again because kitchen closed. It seems a couple of other reviewers who complained about the very same issue were completely right. So I would like to ask the owner this. If you are going to run your restaurant as a hobby, of course it is within your rights but you might wish to change your hours of operation to match your strange business habits. As such, restaurant absolutely NOT recommended and would not step my foot here a third time! Customers deserve...
