Nan Steakhouse — Restaurant in Nan Province

ps. comments based only on what i have ordered and tried. We ordered a fillet steak (260 baht) and ribs-eyes steak (300baht). No complaints about the price but the quality was terrible. The fillet steak is so stale that it emitted a foul smell. The rib eye steak was a bit better but it was also very stale and tasteless without the sauce. the mesh potatoes were lumpy and dry and the Baked potatoes were dry and tasteless. lesson learned - never order any steak in Thailand even if it was operated by foreigners The location is not difficult to find as it reflects correctly in Google maps. atmosphere wise, it is a simple coffee shop style outlet with simple tables and chairs but without air-conditioning. it is a car cry from some more exquisite Thai restaurant of similar...

I visited Nan Steakhouse in January 2024. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice restaurant serving decent western food in Nan, Northern Thailand. I tried their signature Swedish meatballs and the quality is almost on par with what I could find in Stockholm! The Norwegian owner and his Thai wife are very friendly and made me feel at home. First time I've been there so I'm no authority on their food so the review is based on my personal experience of the food I ordered. Nice and quiet.
