It completely exceeded my expectations and left a lasting impression. The food was incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and hands down the best I’ve had during my trip to Thailand. Every bite showcased the care and mastery behind each dish, a testament to the chef's remarkable skill

What truly elevated the experience was the chef himself. Not only is he a highly skilled professional who also works at the prestigious Naka resort, but his personable demeanor made the meal feel intimate and special. Knowing that dining here directly supports the local community added an extra layer of fulfillment to the experience.

If you’re planning to visit, be sure to stop by between 1 PM and 5 PM when the chef is there—his popularity is well-deserved, and you don’t want to miss the opportunity to taste his creations. This was a culinary highlight of my trip and a heartwarming reminder of the beauty in supporting local talent....

ABSOLUTELY MUST VISIT!!! Our experience at Naka Palm was easily the highlight of our trip to Thailand - a big deal since the resort was also exceptional.

The owner was unflinchingly kind and generous. The food was absolutely delicious. Not a single complaint about the food. The menu might seem to be a collection of popular touristy Thai food - but everything we ate was delicately spiced, flavourful, light, and filled us with a rare, homely warmth. I still think about the clear chicken soup.

He does not accept credit or debit cards anymore - so be sure to carry cash. The owner not only let us eat with the promise of payment the following day - he also kept our beach bag safe while we made the trek to the beach...

Food: Delicious! Everything was cooked fresh by the chef! Chef recommended the garlic soft shell crab, which was yummy, crunchy and savoury. Stir fried morning glory was also good. Tom yam goong soup was only mildly spicy (perhaps to cater to tourists' tastes), and had more of a tamarind-ish flavour compared to the usual, but was delicious nonetheless. Only canned/bottled drinks available, ice is provided. He also does delivery. Muslim chef, so no pork or alcohol.

Service: Chef used to work at the resort! Friendly and cheerful guy. He also has some airconditioned rooms for people to stay/rent next door.

Atmosphere: It can get pretty hot at the outdoor area, but chef kindly switched on all the...

We had lunch here during our brief stay at the Naka resort, and our only regret is that we do not have time to go back! The food here is very authentic Thai, and done very well and each dish we had was of very good quality and delicious. Some people have commented on the price, but as each seafood dish comes with a good amount of seafood, I think the prices are fair, and still much reasonable compared to the resort. The chef actually used to work there, and quite frankly, the resort took a big hit when he left, as I felt the food was better here! We will definitely be back when we are back in Naka, and recommend to anyone looking for some time away from the resort. (They do not served alcohol, btw)

Friendly staff and delicious, authentic Thai food. Chef used to work at Tonsai restaurant in the resort and he mentioned that they do food delivery to the restaurant too. So that’s a good option if you want cheaper food outside of the resort. Coconut is 80 baht. Noodles and fried rice dishes are about 180 baht each. There are flies around when the food arrives so that’s a minor inconvenience. There seemed to be an enclosed room that may be used as well if the flies are a concern. But we just sat outdoors. The fried morning glory tastes so good! Do note that the they close for dinner. In total we spent about 970 baht for 2 pax.
