Ban Khao Lak Seafood — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We arrived at restaurant about 7 pm. After we ordered, we kept asking the progression and the answer was always “cooking”. Finally, we noticed that the later group of people had food before us. That had been already 1 hr waiting. They mentioned that our order has not been sent to the kitchen by their staff. We were very disappointed on their answer and services. We understood that during holiday, there were many people but their system was really bad. I should say “there was no systematic at all”. Eventually, we decided not to have dinner there. POOR IN EVERY WAY FIRST WE WALKED IN NOT FEELING WELCOME AT ALL WE DID NOT NOW IF IT WAS OPEN OR CLOSED FIVE YOUNGSTERS WATCHING TV MAKING OUT LOOKED AT US AS LIKE TO SAY WHAT DO YOU WANT.WE MADE A BIG MISTAKE AND SAT DOWN I TOLD MY WIFE TO ORDER SOMETHING SMALL FOR STARTERS FOR HER MYSELF AND SON IT WAS SO BAD MY SON DID NOT EAT IT AND WE DID NOT ORDER ANYMORE FOOD.WE LEFT NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN MY WIFE WAS SICK ALL NIGHT AND MORNING...DONT EAT HERE OR WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME GO ELSE...

Didn’t experience the crowd / long waiting described in the reviews. Generally, the food is great. The garlic basil fried prawn was absolutely delicious. I also ordered grilled live crab and clams, tasted really good. Not even mentioning the price was only 700b for all that plus beverages. Will be making a return for sure. The only downside is the location (which is rather remote) and the ammonia smell...
