Khai Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of someone who has lived in the area for many years and it really is a lovely spot, an absolute must for anyone exploring this coast on a motorbike. The beach is just fabulous, away from the maddening crowds and only a couple of hotels/resorts that don't get in the way of the scenery too much. The road to the beach runs past the Menara Hotel, park at the end, walk onto the beautiful sand, turn left and in 5-10 minutes you've arrived. Today... A potential business opportunity 😁. Needs some work though... Seriously though, sadly it's derelict and doesn't look like it's going to open at any point in the foreseeable future.

Wow. See the reply from the owner below - repairs and probably a near-rebuild start soon and they should have it going again for the holiday season. That has to be worth a visit!
