Ruea Khud Rae Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

We have seen lots of cars parked out front since they opened. Finally went to see what the hype was all about. The owners spent a lot of money to make a very nice and comfortable restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were only a few tables with customers when we arrived. The place was about 2/3 full when we left. Most looked like Thai tourists and selfie addicts. We ordered fish in banana leaf, fried pork belly,pork with Chinese spices, and shrimp with paak miang(similar to spinach) in coconut milk. Food came out rely fast and looked nice. To be honest it was nothing special and expensive as well. There is a coffee counter and dessert display and we ordered a brownie, lemon cake and custard cake to take away. They were good. It's such a great restaurant on the way to Khaolak. We came here two times and we love it. The restaurant was surrounded by palm trees. It's quiet, excepted the sound from the street. All is green in garden. Decoration in restaurant is nice. There are many tables you may choose. The food is authentic Thai taste. And it's fresh. The price is reasonable and valuable to pay for. Beautiful restaurant. There were outdoor and indoor seating. I preferred the outdoor seating since the restaurant was situated on a palm plantation. Very peaceful view. My husband and I ordered four dishes. The portions were big. It was more than enough to feed a family of five or more people. The food were delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly.
