The best seafood we had on island, with a wonderful setting overlooking a working fishermen's canal. We knew the seafood was very fresh here, as we saw fishermen selling their catch to the restaurant as we walked in! We had the fried crab in spring onion and the chili salted prawns (paired with a medium squid fried rice), and I will find myself dreaming about these for weeks to come. The fried crab was done in a wonderfully tangy sweet sauce base, which was good enough to lick off the crab shell as you peeled the crab! The mud crab itself was on the smaller side, necessitating a fair bit of picking, but the sauce provided great flavors while cracking legs. The prawns were equally delightful and highly recommended, not very spicy, but a similar tangy sweet sauce and a nice crisp fry that, with the fried garlic on top, provided great crunch. Fried rice was also great, and added great filler in between seafood dishes! I only wish we'd gotten a fourth dish, as with, two crabs, 8 or so prawns, and a medium rice, I was full but eager to try more meals from such a great restaurant! Service was also phenomenal, and our server was a great resource for recommending the most popular dishes! Outside of the beach bars and busy streets, you’ll find this beautiful oasis of calm where you can enjoy watching the fisherman in low or high tide.

All the food is handmade by a group of women who turn out the crispiest shrimp I’ve had in years. It’s too bad they have not figured out fried coconut shrimp. We also had the deep fried fish with chilli sauce and the most delicious sautéed vegetables with ginger.

Great Seafood and a great restaurant find. We were a little late getting there, so we were the only ones dining. We thought that perhaps we would be neglected, but they treated us like royalty.

We like to order multiple items and share. The fried fish was a little large, so they warned us and gave us an option of them cutting it in half and only cooking half for us. This tells of their integrity as they were worried about...
