ครัวชมวิว เขาค้อ ลูกเจ้าคุณ — Restaurant in Phetchabun Province

The food was okay all around. The fish with garlic was too breaded and fried to a crisp. The Fish Tom Yum was good and nicely spiced. The black chicken, however, is false advertisement. It is NOT the thoroughly black chicken, Ayan cemani, coveted throughout Asia but an American variety... Though we paid the price as if it was. Overboiled and tough, skip it. They ran out of a mushroom dish and instead of telling us brought out a Squid salad instead. It was pretty good, but we didn't feel we had much of a choice in the matter for the more expensive dish. We never did get our waters, and we were the only ones in the restaurant.

The rest of the compound is cute though, with a Hmong house...

ข้าวผัดกุ้ง**จานใหญ่ ราคา 180฿ ให้กุ้งมาเยอะเลย ข้าวผัดมาร่วน ๆ กำลังดี น้ำจิ้มซีฟู้ด(มั้ง?)ที่ให้มาด้วยอร่อยมาก ๆ

ต้มยำปลาคัง**หม้อไฟ ราคา 250฿ เนื้อปลาสด ไม่คาว ให้เนื้อปลามาเยอะเช่นกัน

กุ้งทอดซอสมะขาม ราคา 250฿ รสชาติดี กุ้งตัวใหญ่แต่ไม่ค่อยสด ทอดมาไม่ค่อยกรอบเท่าไหร่...
