One of the dozens of resorts in the area. This one is pretty nice with a plethora of flowering plants and orchids. The owner must like them as there are lots of Brugmansia shrubs everywhere. I can only imagine the perfume at night. There are lots of fragrant plants everywhere. We did not stay here as it was a bit pricey but we could tell that it’s a quiet place with lots of privacy for couples. We had an al fresco lunch here and the food was pretty decent. Mostly local specialties. We had local steamed veggies with a local salsa made of pickled peppers and minced fish, deep fried mushroom omelette, crispy fried chunks of skin on pork shank with salad and spicy dipping sauce....

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The friendly service and good live music created a great atmosphere. The staff spoke good English too. The food was served quickly, and we enjoyed it so much that we came back for two nights in a row.

The servings are huge and authentically Thai, not those adapted for tourists. The Tom Yum (both seafood and catfish) was delicious, and we loved the stir-fried vegetables, omelette and garlic stir-fry pork. The German pork knuckle was a bit too dry for our taste, but it was great to see they also serve local craft beer, which is hard to find.

Lastly, they also have two friendly dogs and a fat cat,...

The restaurant wouldn't take our reservation when we called, but when we arrived we saw they had reserved tables for other people. The food was also very overpriced, at 290 a dish and not that tasty. Had the Tom yum soup and it was mostly water with very few veg and herbs compared to normal. Finally, the reviews for this restaurant made me think it was worth visiting but in their menu they advertise a discount on your bill if you do a review, so they are all paid for. Only good thing was the live...

I had high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The food was underwhelming in taste, took a long time to arrive, and was overpriced for what was offered. While the staff was friendly, it didn’t compensate for the overall disappointment. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made.
