McDonald's drive thru — Restaurant in Phetchaburi Province

I am updating my review from 2022 as of end September 2025. I am raising my score for this McDonalds from 3 Stars to 4 Stars.

Although I despise those automated flat-screen order Kiosks, I noticed that the staff were friendly and polite. The store appeared more clean and well-ordered than the last time.

As for food, I ordered off of the McDonalds Thailand app, as I hate those George Orwell flat-screen displays. This time, I got a promotional item, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Cheesy Parmasan Sauce that included a drink. I also ordered the 4 piece McNugget set with French Fries. The total bill was 228 Baht. The food was freshly cooked and tasted good by McDonalds standards.

I remembered to snap a few photos. It is what it is... I need to cut down eating this crap. Old Review from 2022; Travelling in a group from Bangkok back to Hua Hin, we decided to make a rest stop at this McDonalds restaurant just before the turn off to Cha-Am.

We were a bit disappointed. Several popular menu items were sold out including the "Angus" beef burger series and an advertised dessert.

The restaurant was a bit messy with several tables still having trash/messy trays.

Just got home from trying to order a #3 breakfast in this drive through. For the record, it is an Egg McMuffin, hash brown, and coffee. The first person trying to take our order did not know what was in their #3 breakfast. A second person came on and was asking my wife (fluent in Thai) to tell her what was on her #3 breakfast. I don't know. Are my expectations too high? Sure, I'm and American that has eaten at McDonalds since childhood, and, I've NEVER came across one that has people working their drive through that does not know their own menu. I left. Ordered at 8am, got the food at 840! Store was to open at 8, but barely 2 people were there who were cooking and serving. Poor value for money on breakfast items. 500baht for 3. There is another store 20kms towards Bangkok and that might be a better bet as it opens at 7am. But this is the last McD if you are traveling south till you...
