Water Chestnuts, Fish Head Hot Pot — Restaurant in Phetchaburi Province

Laid back atmosphere, EXCEPTIONAL food. This is a cool little spot. Complete with country music in the background, but not so loud that you can't hear your group. Although the menu is in Thai, you can survive with Google translate. Whatever you order, I'm sure you'll enjoy. We had garlic chicken, tom yum gung (some of the best we've had), and seafood curry. Every single item was delicious. One of the cooks even checked in on us, to see how the food was, and little things like that, go a long way with regards to service. If we return to Kaeng Krachan, we'll definitely come back to...

This restaurant has a pretty high rate on Google reviews and is located near the dam. There is proper car parking so it is very convenient.

The restaurant claims that their food is very flavorful and pretty spicy, yet they can adjust accordingly. We tried many menus and found most of their river fish menu is good. Only a few dishes that are curry are below my expectations.

และก็นั่งรอ แต่ไม่เอาเมนูมาให้ เข้าใจว่าคนเยอะอาจจะลืม จนท้วงว่าขอเมนูสั่งอาหารคะ พอสั่งเสร็จ ก็มีโต๊ะอีกโต๊มาทีหลังนิดนึง เค้าสั่งอาหารหลังเราแต่เอ๊ะทำไหมได้ก่อน และจนโต๊ะอื่นๆๆกินอิ่มลุกไปหลายโต๊ะ

…? จนได้ถามพนักงานผู้หญิงผิวคล้ำ ตัดผมบ๊อบ หน้าไม่รับแขกด้วย ว่าทำไหมยังไม่ได้ นี่รอมา 1 ชั่วโมง ลืมออเดอร์ไหม **(พนักงานมีหน้าตอบไม่ลืมเพราะออเดอร์สั่งมารัวๆๆ ) เราก็เงียบต่อไป ลูก 2 ขวบ กับ 6 ขวบหิวมากแล้ว เพราะรอตั้งแต่ 6 โมง 45 นาที จน 20:15 ยังไม่มีอะไรบางบนโต๊ะ แม้แต่จานและช้อน น้ำก็ต้องขอหลายรอบ

จนโต๊ะอื่นเริ่มมองและเริ่มซุปซิปว่า ทำไหมเรารอนานแล้วยังไม่ได้ ก็ตามอีกก็บอกไม่ลืม

สักพักข้าวผัดมาจานนึง จนข้าวผัดกินหมดไม่มีอะไรมาอีก นั่งรอไปอีก เริ่มไม่ไหวละเรียกเก็บเงิน มีความโมโหเกิดขึ้น เรียกพนักงานเก็บเงิน จ่ายค่าข้าวผัด และก็โวยวายไปนั่งรออาหารชั่วโมงครึ่งได้ข้าวผัดมา 1 จาน

สรุปพนักผู้หญิงผมบ๊อบเอาบิลไปไหน บอกบิลตกล่น ห่าเหวเลวทราม ลูกนั่งรอเด็กหิวแทบตาย และตามหลายรอบมากบอกไม่ตกหล่นบอกออเดอร์รัวๆๆเลยช้า สุดท้ายบิลตกหล่น

พนักงานก็ไม่แหกตาดูเลยว่าโต๊ะไหนมาตั้งนานแล้ว ทำไหมยังไม่ได้อีก น่าจะเดินไปดูบิลสักนิด
