We visited this pier for the first time and were absolutely charmed by the location. There’s spacious parking right on the pier, and just a few steps down the stairs, right by the water, you’ll find this hidden gem of a café.
Moonstone serves excellent coffee brewed from Chiang Mai beans. I ordered their signature iced cappuccino with cheese foam — divine. The breakfasts are creative and full of personality. I had one served on sourdough bread with sautéed spinach, a piece of white fish (!), two poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce with red chili. A bold Thai twist on a classic. I love how they experiment with the menu! It was incredibly tasty, but I recommend to the team to slightly adjust the amount of hollandaise. With the runny yolks, it turned into a small lake of sauce and egg on the plate. Just a little tweak needed — but the flavors were still absolutely phenomenal.
We also tried the square croissant with ice cream. Both the croissant and the ice cream were fantastic.
