You never experience real Chinese hot pot until you visit here. Suki is a famous word in Thailand, and anything that involves dipping fresh cuts of meat in hot soup, Thais call them Suki. There are all kinds and grades of Suki in Thailand, and Suki Garden is what I found most gratifying. This restaurant is located along Motorway 9, part of the outer ring road system on the west side of Bangkok. It is quite easy to miss the turn because the entrance is rather secluded. On entering, we were greeted by a beautiful Chinese garden imbued with gentle swaying willow trees. The restaurant is of Chinese traditional construct decorated with red lanterns. Very popular on weekends and reservations advised. For the recent dinner we had, people came early between 5 to 7. So, if you are a walk-in, after 7 will be better. We had been here several times. They have new special lunch menu we observed, of noodles dishes which we will try some day. There are many side dishes one can order to go along with the hot pot. From the common meat balls to the luxurious lobsters. For us, it was the beef and pork we normally have. And the soup, spicy fiery mala always leaves a genuine tingle of numbness in our mouths. The cold fresh cuts of quality meats are served on an ice dome. Dry ice added below, and the dish arrives bellowing in smoke. It is visually appeasing. In comparison to the other “household suki chain” (I shall not mention the name), if we are to order up the same amount of quality items, it would cost the same as in Suki Garden. But those “household suki chain” have really blend and cheap broths produced for the masses. Their meats are of lower quality too. The broth here is specially prepared, they stir fry some ingredients in the hot pot before the rich broth is poured. The taste is just superior. Once you been here, you can forget about going to all other...

Read moreHigh quality ingerdients, the soup was good ( we ordered Congee soup ..or ซุปโจ๊ก in Thai & pork ribs soup ซุปกระดูกหมู)
Dipping sauce tasted a bit salty and other additional sauce ingredients i.e. garlic, chili did't change the taste much.
Chinese pear in rock sugar syrup was nice and not overly sweet.
The service was very effective. If they wanna improve services, it would be training the staff to be more hospitable and smiling, show attention not only when clients want to order.
The atmosphere was really nice. Love both outer building design and interior...
