Gaeng Som with fish 🐟 and fresh chilli 🌶️ (แกงส้มปลาพริกสด): at this restaurant they add kaprao leaves to the soup, this is not a standard ingredient in Southern Thai Gaeng Som but it complements the richness of the fish, and the spicy and sour curry paste

Spicy salad with cha-kraam (seablite) leaves and crab 🦀 eggs (ตำใบชะครามไข่ปู): another tasty dish with local ingredients

Melinjo leaves stir-fried with egg 🥚 (ใบเหลียงผัดไข่): a classic Southern Thai dish, healthy and very high in fibre, and a good choice to pair with other more spicy dishes.

Average...won't rush back. Ordered a Som Tam (Papaya Salad) which was tasty and right amount of chilli but exceptionally heavy on the garlic - probably 6 raw cloves at least.

One chicken dish with vegetables and glass noodles was tasty. Fried fish with vegetables was "fishy" although vegetables were good. Grilled beef pieces were served without a sauce and quite tough. My green curry with beef was watery and the vegetables very close to "al dente". The least flavoursome I have had so far. Also rice serving was quite mean.

Drinks menu had no prices and the smoothies advertised were not available.

Prices a little higher than the other restaurant we have been to but not exorbitant.

Food was just ok, bit dry. The barracuda with fried garlic was overcooked. Mashed potato was nice, and we asked for mixed vegetables and got some undressed (dry) salad. The waitress was not very interested or engaged, seemed to want to get back to her phone, even though we were almost the only customers. Then we were overcharged on the bill, which I noticed and had to explain through a bit of eye rolling from the waitress. Was disappointed as we were looking forward to...
