Phen Thai — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

My wife and I visited this place a year ago and the food, service and atmosphere were really nice. This year it was awful!! We ordered two different dishes, but the only difference between them was one had some tomato sauce in it. The food we ordered was jammed full with msg and not traditional Thai food, I have no idea where the cook was from! The price was ridiculously high for the very poor quality. The staff could not muster a smile between them and were unemotional when we asked about the quality of the food. I will refrain from using four letter words to describe our disappointing experience at this place and can guarantee that we will not waste our money eating...

Been there today for dinner. The staff is very friendly and also speaks english, the menu is also very large so everybody finds something. We ordered two starters and three main dishes. We waited for absout an hour and sat at the beach while watching the sunset. It was very delicios, I had the fried chicken with french fries and the other guests had red curry with rice and the garlic chicken. Very recommended, if you don‘t have this much time maybe ask how long it will take to bring the food. Thanks...

19:20 we arrived at the restaurant seated at the beachfront, but immediately we were (4 people) told that the kitchen had already taken their last order and we needed to leave. Very disappointed and surprised especially on a public holiday/long weekend, you’d think that’s the time when they can shine and make their money. I surely don’t try this place next time I’m back in...
