Stumbled (literally) into Sang Thai whilst exploring the area. Was mid-afternoon and wet(ter) season so we were the only customers. Staff friendly and, of course, very attentive. We took a range of Thai staples including Pad Thai and Gratiem Prik Thai. All quickly, freshly and well prepared. A family restaurant that ensures the atmosphere and food quality are above and beyond the best for their customers. They have a list of fresh fish of the day on the wall that I was able to translate with my phone app and choose the fish I wanted but when she asked me how I would like it prepared or even the level of spiciness; that's service! The atmosphere will improve further when the old restaurant, over the water, is rebuilt. The service is very good as is the quality of the food. I asked for a dish to be prepared in a way that is not familiar to them, but they gladly prepared it for me.
