Keing Lay Restaurant — Restaurant in Ranong Province

The seafood restaurant with the amazing ambience. We have been there in the evening time around six pm. The sun was about the set behind the big mountain of Myanmar in the opposite side of the restaurant. There were a plenty of dinning table and chairs which can serve all kind of dinners including the couple, a group of friend or a group of family. The food was so fresh and delicious and has their own unique taste of Ranong for example the stir fried chilli paste where is difference in taste from other provinces in Sountern part. One of the best seafood restaurants in Ranong overlooking Burma. Great sunsets. You need transport as it is about 10 km out of town. 2024 Unfortunately the venue has grown into a function centre with weddings and other functions. A new endeavour has been added, Mrs Snow, an offshoot aimed at a different market with accommodation and a small playground with a swimming pool. It's a lovely environment but it costs. Maybe over time it will become a family destination. This restaurant has panoramic sea view. The food, as agreed by those on my table, were delicious and well-presented. We didn’t find any dish that we didn’t like. After a few days touring, everyone said this was the best meal, food and atmosphere considered. It was very nice to dine al fresco, and the sunset there was beautiful. We were in Ranong as tourists, but saw many locals coming for dinner, hence this is undoubtedly a favorite place for locals as well.
