Thommys Garden — Restaurant in Ranong Province

Tommy’s Garden is a beautiful place hidden in the remote part of Ko Chang island. Quiet, calm and close to nature. If you want to cut off from the world, this is the destination. Private beach, almost no people except for the owners and a few equally quiet guests. The whole area is very well maintained and clean. The bungalows are very simple with basic facilities, so don’t expect luxuries, but they’re clean and the bed is comfortable. They’re as close as nature as it’s possible - the sound of the sea will lull you to sleep and a geco will wake you up in the morning. We absolutely loved the place. The owners are super helpful and they’re taking great care of the place. You can feel that. The food they cook for you is good. Some practical things: mind that there is no ATM on Ko Chang island. The closest is in Ranong or Ko Phayam. The electricity at night is only for a few hours so remember to bring your own flashlight. When travelling from Ranong be careful to take the right boat - tell them you wonna go to Aow Lek (should be around 30 min with a speed boat) and make sure you won’t go around the island, like we did. Tommy's are just the best bungalows around in koh Chang. It is a remote place, very laid back (even by Chang's standards), with nice people run and stay there and a beautiful beach.
