Arrived, have to get someone’s attention to get served even if place completely empty except for couple with paperwork and laptops - owners?

No fans, no music.

Ordered a beer and soft drink.

Soft drink took ~ 15 mins - no beer.

Asked about beer, her apology then just stands there.

I pointed at the beer I ordered in the front chiller on display - apologize and brings to me.

I get small burger and fries ~ 30 mins later.

Old oil used for fries, yellow and crusty.

Burger felt old and drenched in mustard.

To top it off, I ordered 2 - one for me and my guest.

They only bring one, once I had waited 4-5 mins so asked about the other one.

They were unaware of the order - ie people turn up to eat and only one eats….

No one else was there while we sat there except for one guy that ordered a beer and food takeaway.

Another manager type lady swanning around in nightie or something.

What a joke of a...

We had a late lunch here and tried the burgers and a pork steak with salad. View is okay but beach is not very attractive. Dining area okay with rustic wooden furniture. Service was okay but could have been a lot better. They got a drink order wrong and offered no credit for the drink. We had a pork burger and a beef burger with cheese and bacon; meat was very thin and tasteless; bacon was so thin that it could not be tasted; cheese was of the processed variety and fairly tasteless; veggies were okay with onion, lettuce and tomato; there was way too much catsup that overpowered the burger - it would have been far better to serve the burger without the catsup and let you put your own on. The pork steak tasted okay but was a bit thin. The smoothie was just okay and the milk shake was very good. Fries were very good. Price was moderate, the quality was lacking. it’s a perfect place to hangout, have a drink with friends or just “me time” since it’s located in the beach area. really loved the ambiance, it’s breezy and the aesthetics too is perfect.

we ordered the minibus set, it’s a mini burger, 2x smaller than a regular burger, drinks and steak. the stake taste so-so, me & my friends went for well-done and it was perfectly cooked.

for the service, i first ordered the macadamia hot, but hot they had no hot for that drink, so i said i’ll go for coffee macchiatos instead, but he goes back bringing me the two drinks instead 😅 & ended up paying it. we got lost in translation bc i think they didn’t understand what we said. lesson learned since english is note their first language, speak to the staff slowly and make sure they understand what you’re saying. overall highly...
