CiaoBella — Restaurant in Rayong Province

My first time ever ordering pizza from Ciao Bella in Ban Chang, Rayong, Thailand. I received the pizza 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering, which is probably acceptable. The driver should have been here 20 minutes earlier, but he first drove to the wrong housing estate for some strange reason. I still gave him a big tip, as I have a 'big heart'. 1 hour later I opened the boxes, only to find that both pizzas were upside down, the topp of the pizzas plastered to the cardboard (see attached photos). I called Ciao Bella and they said sorry and offered to replace the pizza's. I said yes and at the same time briefly, in a light-hearted way, mentioned that some of the staff, or the driver, probably was not the sharpest tool in the box. My comment (which I was anticipating a humorous response too) was not well received. Something in the direction of: 'How dare you as a foreigner (westerner) criticise a Thai! Naturally this raised some red flags. So I accepted the offer for new pizzas, but when the driver came in a car with three people in it! And they all got out of the car! I had a change of mind. I told them I didn't want the new pizzas. Better to eat up-down pizza then some pizza made and delivered by somebody who obviously doesn't like you. You guys agree? I should mention that the pizzas are really really good. In fact the best pizza I have had in ages, even though they tasted a little bit of cardboard. Shame they lost a potential...

Nice clean place, I had pizza & ordered mushrooms as extra which they forgot to add. My GF ordered Pork Steak, I had almost finished my pizza when I said to the waitress you forgot the mushrooms, it must of been at this point she remembered she forgot to tell the cook about the pork steak. So 10 - 15 mins later (at least 35 mins after ordering) out comes the so called pork steak with salad. The size of the steak was pathetic, about 4 inches in circumference and 3 mm thick. It was worth 55 baht not the 140 baht they charged. In Australia we call steak like that dog food. I would rather pay a bit more for good produce. It was so pathetic it is enough for me to not want to go back again, even tho the pizza was ok & the Chow Minnow...

This is the first time we are here. Real Italian !! Actually I don't like crisp homemade pizza but this is amazing ! A lot of cheese and sauce make pizza juicy. Eating pizza with balsamic olive oil salad is great, it cut the taste of cheese so it's not too greasy. Sausage is good. Nice garlic bread. We've finished it all for only 2 persons. Backyard have 3 little rabbit and playground. Nice atmosphere and decoraion.
