Came to Rayong with family for Xmas holiday. This is our first trip to Rayong. While I was searching for places to visit in Rayong, I came across this restaurant, which I have seen quite a lot in Bangkok. I was thinking why would I eat at this place when I can easily eat it in Bangkok. Then my mum mentioned that this restaurant is originated from Rayong. We should try out the original restaurant.
We ordered 8 main dishes between the four of us. It may sounds like a lot, but they are all seafood. What I'm trying to say is that it won't be as heavy as meats.
We believe what we had back in Bangkok at Central Rama 3 tasted a lot better. We ordered the fried fish with fish sauce, deep fried calamari, crab, back peppers prawns, clams with sweet chillies sauce, fish/prawn cakes, stir fried cabbage with fish sauce. Everything was delicious and the quantity of food was decent. We had ordered a big plate of fried rice between 4 people, and the portion was indeed BIG...
The only complain that we had was the delay in service. They took too much time to serve and in between that they kept bringing dishes that we hadn't even ordered... I truly wonder how they manage when the...
Read moreThe origin and original taste of Thai Seafood has started here long time ago. Now its chains spread nationwide.
We ordered 5 dishes, every one tasted good especially the Fried Fish in Fishsource, which is the signature dish of this famous restaurant.
The place is large and full with customers at 2 pm. The service, though politely, was slow due to the number of clients. Please come earlier to aviod long waiting time.
Accomodations were ok; clean restrooms, lot of parking space, nice utensils, and smiling but tired waiters.
The price is not cheap but acceptable for a famous restaurant near the sea. Most importantly, the foods...
