Just drove in without any reservation and in fact without any idea that this place existed. We got 4 rooms for the 8 of us, which were basically 2 bungalows, each with 2 bedrooms. clean and well maintained rooms with bathroom, small outside terrace with a bench and sort of sea view, somewhat obstructed by a few trees. Very pleasant. Aircondition and Wifi worked well. Restaurant had tables and chairs right on the sand of the beach, good food quality and nice selection, prices adequate - no real bargain but not really overcharging either. The place was full in the evening, but not only with the relatively few resort guests, but with guests who came by car from other resorts, just to enjoy the truly unique atmosphere of this beachfront setting (there is no beach road, guests have to come through the resort to the restaurant and beach). Perfect also for kids who can play in the sand while their parents enjoy a meal. It seems the resort is not really listed with any hotel booking companies and they only have a website in Thai (with a few words in English). They do a great job with their resort and deserve to get more guests. Room rate we paid was 1,500 Baht including 2 breakfasts (basic, but with good intention and way better than nothing). When we arrived the lady at the reception spoke some reasonable English as well. The terrace of the cafe where they also serve breakfast appears to be a kind of reception for the few guests who may arrive, so the lady was just sitting there - all very relaxed. But regular check in procedure with taking passport copy etc., and we paid 1,000 Baht deposit for our 4 room keys (250 each), which was returned when we checked out. All 8 of us liked the place, and there is a good chance we...

Read moreLarge Heineken-100 baht, sea bass(small) - 380 baht. This place is packed with foreigners every night, I don't know why because there are a lot of other options in the area. I ordered the breaded pork, which was quite good for the price. They used frozen vegetables in their stuffed omelet which quite surprised me, but I actually thought it was pretty good. I found the sea bass to be way too small for the price. In Thailand, fish is usually ordered to be eaten by a whole group, but here the tourists were eating it individually, so I understand. Also, it was covered with a sauce which I didn't really like but my...
