The Bizarre Island — Restaurant in Rayong Province

The band plays good music.The security at the door like to touch me.May be they are gay homosexuell. They control me nearly perfect.I go in and l had a body guard.l look for the location bar stage toilet...When l am in the smoking room the body guard says l must sit down at a table not walking. It is not allowed. l am surprise. Where l am.ln a prison ?I go to the stage stand by a free table. The guard follow me take my arm and lead me to a table beside the stage.l am more surprise. l say l want to make pictures from the band.He says it is not allowed to stand there.l must drink something. l say l am waiting for the service. What is the problem ? Now l am angry.l go to the bar buy a drink and ask for the manager. A moment please is the answer. The servers at the bar are friendly. The boss is eating. So l wait.Then the man behind the bar shows me a woman. I go to her but she is running quickly away. My body guard also leave me.Now l go to the stage for the photos. But l have a bad feeling. I am not wecome here.l am a foreigner.May be that is the reason. l drink no alcohol and l wear clean clothes and they let me in.Strange.After a while l go again to the bar ask for the boss.Somebody is looking for comes back and tells me she has no time.So l tell the staff my story and leave the location. Not a nice story but interested for me.A...

Terrible experience and will never go back again.

Long wait: My wife and I waited 55 minutes until our food arrived. No explanation or apology given.

Horrible service: The service was terrible from beginning to end. Parking staff seemed annoyed when we asked (in Thai) where to park since the lot was full. No one greeted us when we entered or showed us to a table. Waiters were curt and unfriendly. When we complained about waiting 40 minutes for our food, they made nonsense excuses and did not apologize. I could go on, but you get the point. Absolutely unacceptable.

Beautiful decor: The design was contemporary 1920s with high quality decoration and a classy, luxurious palette. The big band old school music perfectly fit the aesthetic.

Disappointing food: The tuna salad was spectacular, but the main dishes we ordered (sausage and orange duck) were bad. The sausages were overcooked with wrinkled skin. The duck was dry and the citrus sauce diluted.

The place has a lot of potential, but I'm never...

I usually go there with my friend 2-3 times a month and we’ve experienced all good stuff; food, drinks and live music.

Last Friday (28 Aug), I went there again with my colleagues, expecting the same good experience like always but this time it totally ruined all my expectation, there were 2 waitresses who looked after our table (our table was in front of the Beat) they were very rude and have zero service mind, they always sighed, rolled their eyes and made annoyed face whenever we asked for something.

The cocktails and the food are good but the service actually ruined everything.

Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. The service from two of the waitresses were incredibly horrible and unacceptable.

I informed the other waitress to tell them (the 2 waitresses) not to come to our table again because I couldn’t bear with their horrible attitude anymore.

Can’t believe this actually happened at one of my favorite restaurant....
