Hong Kong style restaurant at the edge of Yaoworot (Chinatown). The menu is extensive and while the specialties are Hong Kong/Guandong style of cooking, there are Sichuan specialties as well. I have eaten here a number of times and the cooking is the real deal. This is not an interpretation of Chinese cooking it is authentic and well prepared. I feel qualified to have experienced proper Chinese cuisine after living 20 years in China. The atmosphere is clean and informal and the tables are well tended. This is a family place and children are welcome. Pricing is very fair. Kitchen KL is only one of a few restaurants that make me feel like I am back in China. Well done and highly...

Don't let the simple decor or emptiness of the place stop you. I don't know why they're aren't a lot of people there but the food was absolutely great. I don't have a lot of experience with Hong Kong cuisine but I do know Char Siu and what it's supposed to taste like. And it does. The rest of the food while I may not be familiar with the dishes there's one thing I can absolutely say and that it tastes great.

The owner is really nice and friendly and has set a great price point. The menu is huge but don't let...

Best part is that you can take your own wine as it was generally difficult to find a restaurant in the area that sold wine and wasn't a bar. However it was another diner who told me that rather than the staff. It is a brightly lit indoor space suited to larger groups. The food arrives as it is ready rather than all together. Although we asked for spicy we found it all a bit bland although there were condiments available to...

I have been living in Thailand for three years. It was never easy to find an authentic Cantonese style restaurant in town and I happened to stumble upon this little canto restaurant in Chinatown. One of the staff could speak Cantonese and recommended a few dishes. The sweet and sour pork and steamed fish were legitimate - reminds me of home, will definitely come back to this place again.

Large portions, suitable for groups, loved their fried oyster omelette, crispy egg and oysters not overcooked. 'Ee mee' noodles were cooked well and impressive with the slightly burnt flavour but personally not salty enough for me. Their tofu stir fried with mushrooms and vegetables was tasty and really liked the texture of the tofu. Overall a pleasant dinner with friendly service.
