A restaurant set amidst a beautiful garden, a pond. A picturesque scenery of the country side with plenty good food to choose from. The reason for its popularity thus, for the setting was truly inviting. The first time I was here, I had to leave for it was full and the queue was too long. My kid would have died of starvation if I had waited. In my second attempt to feast here, we called in advance to make a reservation. It was a success, finally my rear got to warm the seats. But still it was equally packed and our food was served more than 1 hour later. There is a good reason to it, do not complain for the wait. Very very good food some from the menu. The fried river prawns, set up standing like crustacean tower on the generous serving of fried vermillice base. The fried roasted pork doused in a kaleidoscope of green red chili and garlic, retained the crackling and yet fully infused with the spicy flavors. Savory heaven. The braised 3 layer pork, was a wee bit disappointing. Though the gravy was awesome, the meat needed a bit more time in the heat. It was not exactly melt in the mouth type and was rather though to qualify as a good braised dish. Could be because of the rush, the crowd were getting impatient. One other dish was the fried salmon belly. Was disappointing for me. Expecting those prime belly cuts in Japanese restaurants that are normally served grilled on sticks, it was not the cuts to be. If you’ve been to Tops and see packs of discarded salmon bellies going cheap, yes these are the cuts they used. Too fishy and too much of the salmon fats left a bad aftertaste. If you did press this dish down, it becomes bio diesel which you can pour into your truck’s fuel tank. The whole garlic clove that came with it, undercooked. A good one should have been in the oil long enough till the texture mashe, but it was not. It was hard like an uncooked garlic. 2 out of 2 dishes great thus, and I am okay with that, understanding that time was not on their side to make perfection among the waiting diners. The wait did not bother me either, for there is plenty of garden, swings and tiny wooden rides my kid could rock on. Let’s hope maybe on less crowded weekdays, the dishes can be made perfect. For that shall be the time I will be back for more of the exquisite setting this restaurant...

Food is valuable and delicious. We ordered multiple menu, including but not limited to braised pork ( literally melts in your mouth!) , catfish spicy salad ( crispy, large portion, not oily, delicious sauce) , crab fried rice ( the wok hay is just oh wow. Cannot tasted any MSG like other fried rice we have been to in many reamstaurant, stirfried crab in the red curry ( OMG!! I thought it would have cost a fortune as per the quantity of fresh crab ; however, it is amazingly affordable and DELECTABLE!.
the staffs are all so friendly that made us feel important and welcome. They are enthusiastic to help take pictures. Their working clothed look tidy and clean. However, after serving the fod they barely came back to fill uo water / drink.

Read moreIt’s our third visit to Thammachadocha, and it is such a special find. It's not just one restaurant, but a whole community of beautiful cafes and restaurants thoughtfully arranged around a serene lake. The entire place has a cozy, Thai gardening feeling that makes you feel instantly relaxed and far away from the city bustle.
The food we had was delicious and surprisingly affordable for such a beautiful setting. But what truly makes this place magical is the nature. It's clear they have cultivated a wonderful ecological environment, as we saw so many beautiful birds and lush greenery everywhere.
It’s an incredibly family-friendly space, with plenty of room for kids to run around and explore safely. Thammachadocha is a very interesting and charming concept, and we can't wait to go back to try the other restaurants in this little paradise. Highly...
