We found this restaurant by accident while searching for a seaside restaurant on Google Maps, from Bang Pu to Pak Nam. It turned out to be a hidden gem that we felt was truly worth visiting. If you’re looking for a local-style restaurant with a beautiful view where the Chao Phraya River meets the Gulf of Thailand, this is the place. You can see fishing boats, cargo ships, ferries, birds, and lush greenery on the other side of the river. Even though it’s just a few kilometers from the city center, it feels peaceful and relaxing.
The restaurant is located in an area that used to be an old market, and you can still see the original building structure, which tells a story of the past. If you grew up in Thailand, you might recognize this style of market, which is now slowly disappearing due to modernization.
Our Experience at the Restaurant: We came here to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday, so we ordered a variety of dishes. The food was delicious, especially the dishes made with curry paste and shrimp paste. After talking to the owner, we learned that these ingredients come directly from Ranong, a province in southern Thailand. Southern Thai curry pastes and shrimp pastes are known for their bold flavors and spiciness, which are different from central Thai ingredients. This adds a special touch to the food and gives it a unique story behind its flavors.
One of the things that impressed us the most was the service. Every staff member was polite, well-mannered, and provided excellent hospitality, similar to what you would expect in a high-end restaurant or hotel. It’s clear that the owner trains their staff well.
Additional Highlights: Live music from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Plenty of parking, and you can get your parking ticket stamped for free parking Easily accessible by public transport, especially BTS Skytrain (Pak Nam Station), then a 10-15 minute walk
Final Thoughts: This restaurant is a great place to unwind and escape the busy city. You can enjoy your favorite cold drink, savor delicious food, and take in the beautiful river view. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced, and the friendly service from both the staff and the owner makes the experience even...
Read moreVery good riverside seafood restaurant located next to a seafood market. Food quite good; we had grouper with lemon cream sauce, and another grouper dish fried with garlic and chillies. Both were excellent, but you had to watch out for the bones. The gang som was excellent too, lots of omelet and shrimp. There's plenty of parking on the side of the restaurant. They serve beer and all the usual Thai drinks. Service was quite good too. we will be back next time we shop at the...

She said dont use this area to go to the market and respect her shop. I was wondering what kind of disrespect did we do. We actually ignored her and walked by when she bumped to our face...
