Wonderful seafood off the beaten path. 10/10.

Breakdown:

winged bean with prawn - crunchy and really unique. sour, sweet and spicy. Great with rice. Must try. 10/10

southern style kao fish - whole peppercorns, strong flavours. 7/10

spring onion crab - incredibly soft. wonderful. 10/10

deep fried scallop - very interesting, the dry garlic topping was great. unfortunately the deep frying takes the moisture from the scallop. 6/10

soft shelled crab, black pepper - star of the show, very nice. could go for a Thai preparation next time. 10/10

Highly recommend the seafood at Chao Phraya Kitchen! I've been here twice now, with family and friends, and both times it was excellent. The curried crab dishes and the seafood omlettes are not to be missed. The rom yum goong is also very good. All the seafood and fish are very fresh. They have beer too, to accompany your meal. It's a big restaurant, they have a small army of cooks and servers working diligently to ensure that their guests are satisfied. Fresh seafood. Beautiful surrounds. Worth for an hour car drive from Bangkok. The restaurant sits on the seaside surrounded by mangrove forest. Serve the seafood and authentic dish such as mackerel fish livers stir fried with ginger. The deep fried roll is full of crabmeat. Good attention to detail. One star less for the restaurant environment. The arrival landscape does not impress with dry and hot parking with a sewage smelly ditch next to the car.
